DON'T miss this consignment sale!

Spring is here!. We'll ignore today's snow flurries-- but yes, it's that time of year-- spring clean-up!! This is my weekend project, and I think the hardest thing to keep straight when you have multiple children~

Clothes, clothes, and more clothes!

We've been blessed by family and friends to keep us with a high-quality, overabundant supply, and we thank you, thank you, thank you all! Keep them coming! It's been such a relief to have many of their clothing needs provided by you guys!

What the children have outgrown and don't use will be put to good use. After handing down many bags to other family members, the surplus will be sold to raise money for the Tri-State Christian Academy on April 24/25. If you have children and live near us, don't miss this sale. TCA is looking for consignors as well. For more information~ check out:

the sounds return...

...of back hoes and tractors digging away. The sounds mean big messes-- but that's good because progress is being made. I think :) Plus-- the kids have a blast sliding down the piles. We'll overlook the extra laundry for now. Who knows-- by the end of summer, maybe I'll actually be able to post a picture of some nice green grass out back?? A girl can dream...

Rocket Man

Anxiously awaiting the warm spring that has refused to appear this weekend, the children had a movie night yesterday. The feature: The Rocketeer. Elisha's wheels immediately started spinning in motion-- and this morning, he became a Rocket Man himself. Gotta love old backpacks laying around--it's a good thing he doesn't have access to fuel... yet :)
Now-- I wonder--- just what would it take to get his wheels turning like that when it comes to English, Writing, and Reading.... gotta love boys ;)

Just a little car washing~
a little bike riding~ And yes, it's that time of year-- a little demolishing once again! :) Didn't need that roof anyway.

dino leftovers

I finally had my Disney photo's transferred to my computer and was reminded of our Disney T-Rex Restaurant visit-- wish we could go back tomorrow. If you've ever been to the Rainforest Cafe-- this is it-- but with dinosaurs and asteroid showers instead of forests and thunderstorms.
Chocolate Extinction-- need I say more?? Had to throw in a pict of the sleeping toddler-- children are always so cute when they're sleeping! :) Aren't you glad to finally have some Disney pictures withOUT Mr. Rainforest Frogger?? :)

a little science

Little breaks from routine school days are always good, and afternoons spent at homeschool science center classes are always enjoyed. Elisha was quite glad to get there early so he could jump around a bit.
Along with his siblings-- are here is when it would be really great to know how to use the camera properly for a neat photo! Someday...
Elisha loved the Orbitron. And Jacob was quite upset he was too short~ Checkin' out wind and air~ And finding new uses... Not sure what this exhibit was-- but it had buttons to push so it was a winner with Elizabeth.Jacob finally found something to smile about :)
