This is why...

you should shut the door behind you.
The men and children were working outside the other day-(before the winter deep-freeze set in), and we all (ahem-- all of us children) learned a valuable lesson. When you leave the door open, little furry creatures of the chipmunk variety WILL enter the home and quickly scurry up the stairs into your house. When they are finally caught, they will leave little gifts of nervousness in your Tupperware container. Lettuce anyone?
Here's to warm, critter-free homes. :)

That is why we have three outside cats. LOL And they have brought me presents already---at least yours was still alive and kicking, I can't say the same for the mice I've seen.

Love the new blog look by the way---JEALOUS!

Juju - if you really want critters for the house, all you need to do is call me - I'll personally bring Tess up to stay for a while - she loves to sleep on our bed until I go to sleep. Don't mind the heavy sighs and huffiness when you tell her to get down - she really does enjoy keeping the bed warm for ya...just a quick warning about the, er... bodily functions...she just can't help the "boofing", but you'll get used to it..eventually..

Just let me know when I should come...
