Bad news: Computer crashed- again, big-time. I'm borrowing my son's--
Good news: It's a birthday celebration day and I have lots of pictures-- when I can figure out how to download my photo-program on this computer, they'll be posted :)
Until next time, please say a prayer for my computer-- however, it just may be time to go shopping... check out this really cool HP TouchSmart-- or maybe a MacBook... MacBook Air....
or when I wake up, maybe the computer Gods will put all my old computer parts back together in a way that works...

And if I could add a nerd's perspective on your potential computer purchase, I would be hesitant to completely recommend the MacBook Air for it's lack of optical drive. If that' kind of thing isn't important to you, then it's not much of an issue, but for the uses I have for our computers, I can't phase out the CD/DVD writers just yet.
I was always a huge Windows supporter, but if you can swing the added expense and are in search of an operating system that comes preloaded with everything you want for an average multimedia computer user's experience that truly does "just work", Mac will just work for you. Our MacBook has become the hub of our media center now.
happy birthday to Elizabeth and Jacob....how's the computer these days, Jen? Did you breath new life into it?
